Part-Time – Safe & Reliable Student Transportation
Top Kids Gym & Sports is expanding our services to include safe, dependable transportation for our enrolled students, and we are looking for a trustworthy and caring individual to join our team! Position Summary:
The Part-Time Transportation Specialist is responsible for safely transporting students from local elementary schools to our facility during the afternoon dismissal window. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a commitment to safety, and a genuinely friendly demeanor to ensure a positive experience for every child.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate a company vehicle (bus or large passenger van) safely and efficiently on a set route.

Adhere strictly to a tight pick-up schedule across multiple schools (currently 4 locations).

Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit.

Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle interior.

Interact professionally and positively with students, school staff, and parents.
Schedule & Compensation:

Initial Hours: Approximately 1.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Typical Shift: 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM (subject to slight variations based on school dismissal times).

Pay Rate: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour, based on driving experience and qualifications.

Future Growth: As our transportation program expands (including mornings, field trips, and events), additional hours may become available.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Age Requirement: Must be 25 years of age or older (required for insurance purposes).

Driving Record: Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record (MVR check will be required).

Safety Focus: Must successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screen.

Prior experience driving a bus, large van, or similar vehicle is highly preferred.

Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a calm, professional demeanor.
